This tree is in my backyard and provides lots of large lime looking fruits year-round (it doesn’t stop!). I didn’t know anything about this type of fruit before getting into a heated debate about them, followed by the usual google search once you realize you got it all wrong! At first, I thought they were limes that I had neglected to pick, hence why they were so big!
Turns out they do taste sort of like a lime and nothing like an orange! If you wait forever, trust me, they don’t turn orange (just a hint of yellow). They’re very sour and great for making a lemonade alternative if you’re into that sort of thing (who isn’t). Lot of the locals here use it on raw chicken/meat or making juice; I haven’t seen any other types usage.
